She also offers highly accurate and advanced body composition testing, providing measures of your body fat, muscle mass, water, and other components that make up your total body weight. 


Gabbi uses the InBody 570, the most accurate and state-of-the-art body composition analyzer that can be used in an office setting. Your body composition encompasses how much of you is fat, muscle, water, and the other components that make up our body weight. Your body composition is a more accurate picture of your health status and weight changes than your total weight number, as differentiating between muscle and fat helps to ensure optimal progress (losing fat while retaining or building muscle). 


With a quick and easy test that only involves standing on a scale for less than 5 minutes, the InBody 570 measures your:

  • Body weight

  • Body fat (mass and percent)

  • Muscle mass

  • Water and hydration status (total body water as well as water inside and outside of your body cells)

  • Resting metabolic rate (how many calories you burn at rest)

  • Fat distribution throughout your body (how much fat you have in your arms, legs, and torso)

  • Muscle mass and strength distribution (how much muscle you have in each arm and leg and in your torso, and a measure of muscle strength in each area)

Insurance Coverage

Gabbi Berkow accepts insurance for nutrition counseling.  Coverage of nutrition counseling is dependent upon your specific insurance company and plan. Gabbi will verify your insurance coverage and benefits for nutrition counseling prior to your initial session.

Gabbi is in network with the following major insurance companies:

If your insurance company is not listed above, you may be eligible for coverage of nutrition services if you have out-of-network benefits. Gabbi will verify your benefits for you.


Please email a picture of the front and back of your insurance card and your date of birth (as well as the primary card holder's date of birth if your name is not on the card) to so that Gabbi can verify your benefits for nutritional counseling.

Nutrition sessions can be done in person, over the phone, or through secure online video calls for your convenience.
